Description: This course gives you a comprehensive understanding of the key concepts and principles in British habitat conservation and wildlife management. It combines academic theory with work-based experience and ensures you’re fully trained in industry standard techniques of research and fieldwork. You’ll be trained to manage wildlife sites sustainably, in the light of environmental change, population demands, economic pressure and agricultural requirements and understand the roles of different regulatory and advisory bodies involved in the protection of these sites.
