Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW) is a programme developed to upskill employees within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Swindon and Wiltshire. SSW provides recognised, accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses to enhance your employees’ skills, increase the competitiveness of your business and boost the local economy.
HR Champions is part of Serco’s network of expert organisations chosen to deliver the SSW programme in your area. Because SSW is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), we can support your workforce at no extra cost to your business.
HR Champions specialise in Management Development training, with over 20 years trading experience. They will be delivering a 4 day course in ILM Level 2 Leadership and Team Skills on the 17th, 24th, 31st March and the 7th April.
This course provides excellent fundamental training for those aspiring to become new supervisors/team leaders or those who are already in a supervisory role but who have had little or no formal training and will cover:
Day 1 - Leading your Work Team / Understanding Digital Change in the Workplace
Day 2 - Workplace Communication / Improving the Performance of the Work Team
Day 3 - Developing the Work Team / Induction & Coaching in the Workplace
Day 4 - Planning & Monitoring Work / Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace
Assessment for this course is by a set of short-answer questions to be written on each day of the course. Delegates will be required to attend all 4 training days.
